Len Siskind FCA

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Len graduated in Economics at Leeds in 1979 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Casson Beckman, working in the specialised Consultancy division.

In September 1985 Len joined a small practice, Sharpe Fairbrother, as the Practice Manager and became an Equity Partner in 1988. Developing his own portfolio, Len became specialised in the Property Sector because his Partners portfolios were primarily property related. The practice thrived and went from 6 employees to 25 employees over the next decade. Following the retirement of 2 Partners, Len merged the practice with Hazlems Fenton LLP, a 10 Partner firm with 70 employees in September 2008. During this period Len had established a separate Property Department in the Practice which covered all areas of the Property Sector. The department provided a full finance office for numerous clients doing the bookkeeping, Vat, covenant reporting, all forms of Accounting, Auditing and also providing FD services if required. The department provided at all levels and clients could utilise exactly the level of service they required. The department grew and at its peak worked with clients owning approximately £1b value of property.

Hazlems Fenton LLP grew rapidly, and the firm was purchased by Blick Rothenberg LLP in 2018, in which Len was on the Management Board. Retiring from the practice in December 2021. Len has known Rob Soltanie since 2010 and has advised the FGC Group of companies from the very start on all property related matters. Len currently provides Consulting services to a few select clients in the Property Sector on a Freelance basis.
